Poster Presenters
Important Information for Poster Presentations
When preparing a poster presentation, it’s important to keep in mind the objective of capturing the interest of conference attendees in your work. The quality of your presentation can stimulate the attention of the audience and improve overall satisfaction.
To ensure readability from a distance of 2 meters, please use an appropriate font size. Additionally, authors must use only the boards allocated for their posters. The message of your poster should be clear and understandable without the need for an oral explanation.
To help delegates locate your poster, it’s important to clearly display the title of your paper, the names and affiliations of the authors, and your usual contact details, such as an email address, to allow for continued discussion.
For those who may be unfamiliar with poster presentations, it involves standing next to your poster and being available to answer questions from conference attendees. We encourage you to prepare a short verbal summary of your poster (5-10 minutes) for those who would like a more in-depth explanation of your work. This can generate greater interest and lead to better discussions.
Posters should be printed in portrait layout with a maximum size of A0 (841mm wide and 1189mm height), as the poster board is fitted to accommodate a poster of this format. To ensure a visually appealing poster, we strongly encourage authors to provide a single poster of this size and avoid using multiple A3 or A4 sheets, which may be difficult to fix on the board.
To locate your poster board, please check the conference program to find the session and location where your poster is scheduled. Each poster board will be marked with a unique poster ID number, which can be found in the program. Presenters must use only the board corresponding to their poster ID number.
Please prepare your poster using the attached template and email it to engcon23@najah.edu before 30-5-2023
Poster set-up and removal schedule:
- Posters should be set up on the day of your presentation during the morning coffee break. Local organizers may be able to provide assistance with the appropriate materials.
- Posters should be removed from the boards no later than 18:00 on the same day. Any posters left on the board after this time will be discarded.
